Gnarly Pines with Parks Canada Information

The whitebark pine is a very special, endangered tree that plays a critical role in the biodiversity of our mountain ecosystem. Do you know where it lives at Panorama Mountain Resort? Would you like to learn more about our efforts in supporting the recovery of this threatened species in our ski area? Parks Canada’s Outreach Team and Five-Needle Pine Specialist will be on site with family-friendly activities, prizes, and more. 

Dates: July 26 and August 2

Time: 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Location: A tent and table will be set up in the upper village outside Ski Tip Lodge.

Drop by the tent anytime. No registration is necessary. All ages are welcome.
