It doesn’t take long to fall in love with the charm of our small mountain town. Panorama has been a cornerstone of the Columbia Valley’s ski scene since 1962, helping shape the region’s deep connection to winter. At Panorama, you’ll find endless opportunities for skiing, snowboarding, Nordic trails, fat biking, and snowshoeing.
Just a short drive to nearby Invermere, you can skate on the world-record skate trail on Lake Windermere—the longest ice track in the world, browse among many artisan shops, find local products and many stunning art galleries. There are parks, trails, dog parks, lakeside beaches, and nearly every outdoor activity you could dream of. Invermere and Panorama sit in the heart of the Columbia Valley, which spans approximately 100 km between the Canadian Rocky Mountains and The Purcell Mountain range, with stunning landscape of mountains, lakes, wetlands, and forests.
