The Panorama Bike Park celebrates old school riding while embracing the new directions and trends of the ever the evolving sports of downhill and XC mountain biking. The park’s roots are obvious in the braided labyrinth of burly tech DH trails.
See what is open and comments on conditions, here.
The past few summers have seen a flurry of improvements to the park as the crew takes things to the next level. Trails were refurbished and re-routed. A popular and progressive intermediate jump line was added to Mercy Me & the jump line on Hell's Bells completely overhauled, making the jump shapes more modern. The Hell's Bells decks now average approximately 30 feet in length. The features on Crazy Train also received some tender loving care, opening up multiple line choices.
With the help of some serious machine muscle we completed Let It Ride, our first top to bottom beginner trail. This green run is an excellent introduction into downhill biking. Flowy, fun and challenging, the terrain gets progressively harder the further you get along the trail. As a beginner you can expect wide switchback turns at the top, some fast open sections, a couple of little spots covered in roots and small rocks and lots of big berms that become more challenging as you approach the end of the trail.
We are once again teaming up with SE Racing this July 27-29, 2018 and welcoming the Dunbar Summer Series and The Canadian National DH Championships. If you missed all the action from last year rave reviews and praise flooded in about the race course, which headed down Insanity. Four new features and a bunch of different line options were opened up with some exciting raw sections making for an action packed race.
Take a look at all the action from the 2015 BC Canada Cup weekend in this re-cap by the team at Pink Bike.

2019 Hopeful Creek Bike Trails
Open on weekends June 29 to September 1.
The Hopeful Bike Trails require a uphill ride or a hike-a-bike from the top of the Champagne Express Quad to access the trails from the summit. Ride both the Mile 1 Express and the Champagne Express for this program.
Mapping and trail information is available on Trailforks and is also available as a Smartphone app for IOS and Android devices.
Hopeful Adventure is not part of the Bike Park. Users must be prepared to overcome the challenges of a remote mountain environment including wildlife, weather, mechanical failures and injury. Make a trip plan and share it. Tell someone when you expect to return. The Hopeful Adventure is a more difficult trail. The most similar trail in Panorama’s Bike Park is Mercy Me.
