Cross-Country Ski Rentals Information

The Panorama multi-use trail network offers more than 20 km of regularly groomed trails. Through forest and along Toby Creek, the network provides an uncrowded experience in spectacular mountain scenery to cross-country ski, fat tire bike and snowshoe.

Different routes are available for all levels of skiers from beginners to advanced. Guest can travel a 12 km loop out to the Hale Hut Warming Cabin for an unforgettable afternoon in the mountains with spectacular views.

Our multi-use trail system begins at the Greywolf Golf Course clubhouse and is for non-motorized use only. The trails are regularly groomed for classic and skate skiing. Please be respectful of the classic ski track set and do not damage it by walking or biking on it.

Please pay for trail fees at the Greywolf Pro Shop or Guest Services in Ski Tip Lodge. A great selection of outdoor apparel is also available.

The outer loops represent 90% of our multi-use trail system. They are groomed three times a week (or as needed) by a snow cat and offer both skate and classic tracks.

Just 20km from the resort (accessible by free shuttle bus) is the Lake Windermere Whiteway, recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records as the longest ice-skating loop and alongside it is a 15km Nordic loop which is groomed and track set. The views of the Rockies and the Purcells from the expanse of the frozen lake are remarkable! More trails are available deep in the Kootenays too and the Toby Creek Nordic Ski Club can help point you in the right direction.
