Updated on July 23, 2026

BC Wildfire Service has enacted a Category 1 campfire ban beginning at 1 PM (MT), Thursday July 23 for the Southeast Fire Centre, including Panorama.

This prohibition is to help prevent human-caused wildfires and will remain in place until October 31 or until the order is rescinded.

You can learn more about fire restrictions, and activity in the Southeast Fire Centre through the BC Wildfire Service.

As the summer season progresses, stay up to date with current weather, air quality and conditions at Panorama with our real-time mountain webcams, checking the air quality health index and upcoming weather forecast.
