Summit Hut Fondue

Board your helicopter at RK Heliski and end your day with an après ski experience you won't soon forget. Located at the top of Panorama Mountain, the Summit Hut offers traditional cheese fondue followed by a chocolate fondue. Bring family and friends and have the whole mountain to yourselves. The heli-fondue experience starts off with an exhilarating helicopter flight over Panorama Mountain Resort en route to the Summit Hut. After landing, enjoy beverages on the patio or beside the crackling fireplace. Take in the amazing views while you await a traditional cheese and chocolate fondue. Your family or colleagues will savour this uniquely Panorama alpine tradition.
This experience is a partnership with RK Heliski and the Summit Hut. Please contact RK Heliski for available departures. Payment for the heli component of this experience is paid to RK Heliski and the fondue/beverage portion is paid directly to the Summit Hut.

Flight time: 12 minutes + 30- 60 minutes at the Summit Hut. Time at the Summit Hut is subject to weather conditions, daylight hours and pilot discretion.

Elkhorn Cabin Raclette
Featuring dozens of local BC wines, craft beers and liqueurs, the Elkhorn Cabin is the perfect place for a cozy après dinner. The original cabin was found on the Elkhorn Ranch in Windermere and relocated mid-mountain thanks to the ingenuity and determination of Don Bilodeau, a Panorama legend.
A cheese and meat grill favoured by European skiers, Raclette is Swiss tradition that is perfect for groups (between 6 and 20 people). Presented with your own personal grill, your group can melt an assortment of Raclette cheese, vegetables and meats, including tenderloin, and chicken breast.
Bring family and friends to the Elkhorn cabin, located midway down Rollercoaster, skiers left. The party starts at 4 pm.
Raclette & lamplight ski out (Thursday & Friday only)
Catch the last ride up on the Champagne chair, with a group of friends and enjoy a special cheese and meat Raclette, perfect for groups between 6 and 20 people. Experience cooking at your table on a raclette grill with beef tenderloin, Swiss Raclette cheese, potatoes, mushrooms, pickled condiments, pepper salad and homemade sauces. And finish with grilled pineapple for dessert.
After dinner, you will enjoy a guided ski back down to the village by the light of your headlamp (provided by Elkhorn Cabin). Reservations are essential and you can book online or by telephone. Due to the challenging terrain and conditions this après activity is limited to experienced skiers and snowboarders, and may be cancelled without notice. Minimum group sizes apply.

NEW Snowcat Limousine Dining Experience
Catch the last ride up on the Champagne chair and ski to Elkhorn Cabin by 4pm for a private Raclette dinner. When you’re done, you will be transported back down to the village in Panorama’s new passenger snowcat, Monster X. Minimum group size applies, up to 13 people.

Mile 1 Hut Fondue
Saturdays and during night skiing nights only (see below).
The Mile One Hut is located at the top of the Mile One Express chairlift.
Featuring fondue for 2 people or more, the Mile One Hut serves up authentic Swiss cheese and chocolate fondue perfect for families and small groups. Head up on night skiing evenings and ski down after dinner by the lights of the Mile 1 Express. You also have the option of uploading and downloading on the chairlift with your winter boots on. No skis needed. A lift pass is required, single ride lift tickets are available from Guest Services and must be purchased in advance.
Night skiing runs every evening from December 26 to January 4 and then Saturday nights only starting on January 11 - March 7, 2020.
