Rent a special fat tire winter bike from the Panorama Nordic Centre at Greywolf.
Since its debut in western Canada more than decade ago Winter fat biking has never looked back. With over-sized tires perfect for riding on packed snow, a fat bike is a fun way to explore the quiet multi-use trails and snowy roads around the resort. Our fat bike trails offer both a single track and groomed double track shared trails with snowshoers.
All trails are dog friendly. Please review our Dog Use Policy before arrival.

Fat biking is best on firm, packed snow. Our fat bike-snowshoe shared trails offer great riding.

The Johnson Trails are located about half way between the resort and Invermere (across from Lake Lillian). This area offers packed single track loops. You can find more info on the Columbia Valley Cycling Society website.

Fat Bike rentals are only available to those who are an intermediate plus mountain biker due to the technical nature of our trails. These are people who are comfortable on all blue mountain bike runs and are improving their skills on black runs.

Damage Coverage
Due to the nature of fat biking, the purchase of the damage coverage is highly recommended. Without the damage coverage, the renter will be responsible for the full retail value of any and all damages to the equipment. Damage coverage covers any accidental damage; it does not cover intentional damage, loss or theft. Purchasing damage coverage is cost-effective and highly recommended.
