CLOSING FOR THE SEASON APRIL 9!

Winter biking? You bet!

Since its debut in western Canada more than decade ago Winter fat biking has never looked back. With over-sized tires perfect for riding on packed snow, a fat bike is a fun way to explore the quiet multi-use trails and snowy roads around the resort. Our fat bike trails offer both a single track and groomed double track shared trails with snowshoers.

All trails are dog friendly. Please review our Dog Use Policy before arrival.

Rentals

Winter fat bike rentals are available daily from the Nordic Centre. You can find pricing and more details, here.

Where can I ride?

Fat biking is best on firm, packed snow. Our fat bike-snowshoe shared trails offer great riding.

Check out our Nordic Trail Map and Trail Conditions Report to help you plan your ride.

The Johnson Trails are located about half way between the resort and Invermere (across from Lake Lillian). This area offers packed single track loops. You can find more info on the Columbia Valley Cycling Society website.
