This local event features a variety of hikes, paddles, presentations, and field trips hosted by a large cross-section of educators, wildlife experts, conservationists, ecologists, historians, biologists, and more. Based out of the cozy mountain town of Invermere (just 20 minutes down the mountain from Panorama), festival events and activities stretch from Golden to the north, down to Wasa in the south. This is a festival you won’t want to miss!
For 2024, festival organizers plan to have over 100 events during the 7 festival days including Bob McDonald, host of CBC Radio's Quirks and Quarks program as this year's keynote speaker.
The Events Calendar will be viewable online starting Thursday, March 28. Buy your tickets online starting Tuesday, April 9 at 10:00am, MDT. Please plan to be an “early bird” to get your event choices! Usually, 70% of our festival tickets are purchased on the first day.
