August 1, 2014 - Columbia Valley Pioneer - Panorama Adds New Chairlift
Panorama Mountain Village is adding a new quad chairlift this summer, helping make more terrain at the ski hill accessible to novice skiers.
The new Doppelmayr lift, part of more than $10 million the resort is spending on upgrades this summer, will take skiers and riders up to beginner-friendly terrain below Founder’s Ridge next season.

2014 is not just a year for Olympic athletes to compete in Sochi, Russia. Similar to the 2010 Winter Games, the Paralympic Winter Games will take place from March 7 to 16. Before that, many Paralympians will be travelling to Panorama Mountain Village for the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) World Cup. The 10-day competition features Alpine Paralympic athletes who will journey to Panorama from around the globe and begin training on the mountain mid-November, 2013. Read more >
