White Water Rafting |

White Water Rafting
Experience the thrills of white water rafting with Kootenay River Runners this summer! This white water fun is available on-site at Panorama down the glacier fed waters of the Toby Creek.
TOBY CREEK
Toby Creek is born from high alpine glaciers capping the Purcell's. It carves a turquoise ribbon through mountain wilderness and steep canyons.
This classic whitewater adventure offers thrills and excitement throughout the twists and turns of the Class I - III river section.
It is great for the first time rafter or the seasoned professional. Trip length is approximately 2 hours.
Tour departs at 10:00am, 1:00pm, and 4:00pm.
KICKING HORSE CLASSIC
This trip, covering a distance of 20km, starts at our Kicking Horse River basecamp just west of the Yoho National Park boundary, 24km east of Golden. In the upper and middle canyons, you'll start out slowly, but the waves will soon pick up until you're getting drenched in continuous class III to IV rapids. You won't forget Portage, Shotgun, Last Waltz, and all the other rapids along the way. It's a great trip for the first time rafter or the seasoned veteran.
KICKING HORSE ULTIMATE
Raft every rapid the Kicking Horse has to offer! Add on the Lower Canyon section to the Upper River trip. It takes approximately 1.5 hours to raft this additional section (time includes portage by road, etc.). This trip ends near the town of Golden, and returns to basecamp afterwards.
All prices include $3 river access permit fee but do not include GST.
