Kootenay Troutfitters Fly Fishing

The East Kootenays is world renowned for its trout fishing and majestic scenery. Wild populations of westslope cutthroat trout, rainbow, brook, and mountain bull trout are found in our mountain lakes, rivers, and streams. Mountain whitefish, kokanee salmon, and bass are also resident species. Catch trout in solitude from a float tube on an alpine lake, walk a quiet section of a stream stalking cutthroat and bull trout from pool to pool, or bring the whole family out for a memorable fishing trip.

Half Day Guided Tours

Whether it's just a taste of adventure, a lesson you need, or a getaway for a few hours of fishing - our half day trips will make you want to keep coming back. All gear, instruction, and transportation is provided for those that need it. Snacks and drinks are provided as well.

• Half Day - $165 per person (private tour) plus applicable taxes
• Half Day - $145 per person (based on two people) plus applicable taxes
• Half Day - $115 per person (based on three or more people) plus applicable taxes
• Half Day - $65 per youth plus applicable taxes

Full Day Guided Tours

Full days are for those who want more time on the water or a more remote fishing excursion. Imagine getting to one of the most beautiful fishing holes or lakes you've seen, the fish are biting, a hatch is on, and you've got to leave! Spend a day with us, our guides want to stay too! Full day adventures include all gear, flies, transportation if needed, and a deli style lunch with drinks and snacks.

• Full Day - $225 per person (private tour) plus applicable taxes
• Full Day - $195 per person (based on two people) plus applicable taxes
• Full Day - $175 per person (based on three or more people) plus applicable taxes
• Full Day - $95 per youth plus applicable taxes
