Panorama Mountain Resort is now at the heart of B.C.'s most unique Nordic skiing experiences.
Cross Country Skiing and Snowshoeing
The Panorama Nordic Centre, located in the lower village, (access from the lower parking lot) offers more than 20 km of groomed trails for classic and skate skiing. .
The trails take skiers along the scenic Toby Creek. Different routes are available for all levels of skiers from beginners to advanced. Travel a 6.9 km loop out to the Hale Hut Warming Cabin for an unforgettable afternoon in the mountains.
The outer loops represent 90% of Panorama's Nordic Centre. They are groomed twice a week (or as needed) by snow cat and offer both skate and classic tracks.

With the purchase of a trail pass, free guided ski tours, along with technique tips for beginners are available on Saturdays at 2:00 PM -please call the Nordic Centre at 250 341 4106 to make arrangements.
We also offer 2 beautiful snowshoe trails which take about 60-90 minutes to complete and are about 4 km in length. Also guided snowshoe tours and snowshoe tours including S mores are available..
Just 20km from the resort (accessible by free shuttle bus) is the Lake Windermere Whiteway, recognized by the Guiness Book of World Records as the longest ice-skating loop on the planet. Alongside is a 15km Nordic loop which is groomed and track set. The views of the Rockies and the Purcells from the expanse of the frozen lake are spectacular! The trails of Nipika, deep in the heart of the Rockies, are close too.
March 21, Please see the list below for when each trail has been groomed. There may be some bare areas on the trails.
March 21 is our last day for rentals and we are closing for the season. The outer loops are planned to be groomed 1 more time and will remain open conditions permitting. Please pay at the Kiosk located under the Greywolf clubhouse. Thanks everyone for making this a good season !!
Due to some technical difficulties, our Hale Hut is unable to stay warm. Maintenance is working on a solution. Sorry for an inconvenience and we hope to have it warm again soon!

NEW! Nordic day passes are now available from an electronic ticket kiosk located at the Greywolf Golf Course clubhouse. From the clubhouse, follow the groomed trail for just 230m to connect to the outer loops.
The Panorama Nordic Centre offers over 4 km of trails for snowshoeing. Check out the scenic views from across Toby Creek road overlooking Panorama and Jumbo Valley.
Rental equipment is available from the Nordic Centre.
