Panorama Mountain Resort is now at the heart of B.C.'s most unique Nordic skiing experiences.
Cross Country Skiing and Snowshoeing
The Panorama Nordic Centre, located in the lower village, (access from the lower parking lot) offers more than 20 km of groomed trails for classic and skate skiing, more than 4 km of snowshoe trails, and snowshoe tours.
The trails take skiers along the scenic Toby Creek. Different routes are available for all levels of skiers from beginners to advanced. Travel a 6.9 km loop out to the Hale Hut Warming Cabin for an unforgettable afternoon in the mountains.
Just 20km from the resort (accessible by free shuttle bus) is the Lake Windermere Whiteway, recognized by the Guiness Book of World Records as the longest ice-skating loop on the planet. Alongside is a 15km Nordic loop which is groomed and trackset. The views of the Rockies and the Purcells from the expanse of the frozen lake are spectacular! The trails of Nipika, deep in the heart of the Rockies, are close too.
